2009 Magical Moments Napa Valley Cabernet Franc

Taste the magic in this 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Franc, a vintage full of flavor and personality. Savor the flavors of berry, strawberry, chocolate, olive, bell pepper, anise, and vanilla with a soft, dry finish. Taste the foundations of California sunlight, the Cabernet Franc grape, and 100% French Oak in this experience full of character. This versatile wine beautifully accompanies dinners from swordfish to your favorite cut of steak.

2009 Magical Moments Merlot

Is it magic that makes this merlot soft, fruity, and rich? Or is it the grapes grown on the beautiful State Lane Estate vineyard, with its well-drained, rocky soil, abundance of sunshine, and breezy afternoons? Combined with the 16 month French Oak aging and the 2009 long growing season, this merlot has beautiful balance, bright, lively flavors and a smooth texture on the finish. Savor on your pallet the raspberry, cherry, anise, cinnamon, and mint aromas with soft tannins and light toasty oak on the finish. Enjoy with everything from roast duck and other game birds to prime rib. It pairs well with nuts and medium-hard to hard cheeses like Comté or aged Gouda. Don’t worry about how the magic happens, just celebrate with a toast.

2009 Magical Moments Chardonnay

The tasting notes say “drink now through 2014.” We say drink now! This chardonnay turns a simple brie cheese plate or a luscious dinner of salmon, roast pork, chicken, or cream-based pasta into a Celebration! The flavors of ripe pear, pineapple, green apple, banana, citrus, toasty oak and ginger spice are crisp and clean on the palate. Winemaker Geoff Gorsuch cold fermented half of the wine in tanks and the rest in barrels. Enjoy this vintage that reveals a beautiful balance, bright, lively flavors, and a smooth texture.

2010 Magical Moments Sauvignon Blanc

This 2010 Lake County Sauvignon Blanc had the advantage of a long hang time to fully develop its rich, citrusy flavors. As tempting as it is, we’re not going to beat you in the head with the power of this metaphor to the Madonna School and the students it serves. Instead, we suggest you enjoy the crisp, clean and bright taste with fresh grapefruit and green apple flavors that finish dry with a touch of white peach and flint. This Sauvignon Blanc is excellent with any sort of seafood. You can pair this wine with shellfish, oysters, chicken, cream-based dishes, and a variety of cheeses. Taste the magic of this classic vintage characterized by a fragrant aroma and refreshing acidity.
